Okeletsang is an admitted attorney who finished her articles in Pretoria in 2009. She went on to work with big brand companies including the likes
of Mobile Telephone Networks (Pty) Ltd, Nedbank Limited and British Petroleum (Pty) Ltd. She is well versed in drafting, reviewing and negotiating
legal agreements. Her experience includes ensuring companies comply with the law, training on new legislation, consulting on legal issues and
providing holistic legal solutions. As a commercial attorney who specialises in among other things, technology law and alternative dispute resolution
procedures, she believes in providing bespoke solutions to clients. She has a peculiar interest in space, as in outer space. As such, she has enrolled
for a Masters degree with UCT on the Philosophy of Space Studies. Outside work she is a member of Mandela Washington Young African Leaders
Initiative (YALI.) She is also involved in working with under privileged communities through an organization called the National Council of African
Women (NCAW). This organization was established in 1937 and it lives to improve the lives of vulnerable South Africans to date.

Marika is the Managing Director and a Senior Legal Advisor at Legal Empire (Pty) Ltd and legal advisor to Woman of Stature. She has spoken on
radio many times with regards to many dynamic legal topics including the legal stance in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Contracts, Children’s
Rights, POPI, GDPR and many more. She litigated on a vast variety of matters as a practicing Advocate during 2000-2006, joined the Corporate
Sector thereafter and won a Medal from China for excellent work in the Contractual field. Marika is currently on the forefront of commencing the
operation of a unique business model in making legal services more widely accessible and affordable to individuals across South Africa.
